The Temple of Torment is set on a medieval fantasy world, inhabited only by humans, invaded by demons. The game features quest-based gameplay with good and evil choices. The rules are calculated with a simulated d20 die but The Temple of Torment is not compatible with the d20 System. Overall style is D&D-esque combat with mana based spell system. The Temple of Torment could be described as "Diablo I meets D&D meets ADOM".
Both graphical tiles and ASCII tiles are supported. Graphical tiles are 16x16 and ASCII tiles are 16x16 and 8x12. Thus recommended resolution for graphical mode is at least 1366x768. Graphics are from Adam Bolt's Angband tiles with additional tiles from Fernando "Endorya" Pereira.
4. Roguelike Features
The Temple of Torment features (optional) perma-death, (optional) ASCII-graphics, procedurally generated levels and turn-based gameplay.
5. Supported Platforms
On Windows: Works on XP, 7, 8 and 10.
On Linux: Works at least on Debian both 32bit and 64bit with Wine.
The Temple of Torment is programmed with Python 2.7 and libtcod 1.5.2 library based on the Jotaf's tutorial on RogueBasin.
